We occasionally publish guest articles from people with genuine expertise or firsthand experience in early parenting: pediatric nurses, midwives, lactation consultants, sleep consultants, child development specialists and parents with a specific, hard-won story worth telling.
We offer a byline, an author bio with one link to your professional profile, and an audience of new parents who read carefully. If you’re pitching for a backlink rather than a byline, this isn’t the site for you.
What we’re looking for
– Topics within our lanes: baby sleep, feeding, development milestones, newborn health, and honest gear experience.
– Original articles of 1,000+ words, written for this site not published elsewhere, not spun, not AI-generated filler.
– Every health claim supported by the AAP, Mayo Clinic, CDC, WHO, NHS, another national health agency or pediatric medical association, or peer-reviewed research. This is the same standard we hold our own articles to.
– A real author: your name, a short bio, a photo, and a link to a professional profile. We do not publish anonymous or pseudonymous guest content.
What we don’t accept
– Paid link placement, “sponsored guest posts,” or articles written to promote a product or service.
– Rewrites of existing content, or anything previously published.
– Medical advice that goes beyond established pediatric guidance.
Our linking policy
You may include one link to your own site or professional profile in your author bio. Links inside the article body must point to authoritative sources that support the content.
Any commercial or promotional link, if accepted at all, will carry a rel=”nofollow sponsored” attribute. We edit all submissions, our editorial decisions are final, and health articles go through the same medical review as our own content.
How to pitch
Email hello@newbornstages.com with the subject “Guest post pitch: [your topic]”. Include:
A 2–3 sentence summary of your idea and its angle
Why you’re the right person to write it (credentials or experience)
One link to something you’ve written
We reply within 2-3 days to pitches we can use. If you don’t hear back, the answer is no – please don’t follow up with “just bumping this.”
